You can request other information such as details about where we get personal information from and who we share personal information with. To maintain membership or receive subscriptions, donations or funding and organise fundraising activities to sustain our group we collect or use the following information:

  • Names and contact details

  • Addresses

  • Payment or banking details

  • Website user information

  • Consent - we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

 

  • Contract – we have to collect or use the information so we can enter into or carry out a contract with you, such as providing you with membership benefits in return for your subscription. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.

To provide group updates, newsletters, announcements or notices about meetings, events, training, courses, or study we collect or use the following personal information:

  • Names and contact details

  • Addresses

We only keep personal information for as long as we need it to carry out the activities as detailed in this notice.

 

After the end of the retention period, the data will be securely deleted from our records. We may need to retain certain data longer for records in relation to reports for funding or accounting purposes.

  • We use a data processor.

 

WIX is our data processor who does the following for us: Collects and stores personal data of members and message content from enquirers so that we can manage membership and enquiries and encourage membership to the group and payment of subscriptions. This is through a contact form or membership enquiry form or email links on our website that sends us information by email.

I would like to join

As a member you will receive a quarterly newsletter and access to the preparations.  Annual membership is £15 per person, £20 for a couple. We offer a concession of £10 a year if needed. When you use the form below, the group's Secretary will contact you to answer any questions you might have and organise your registration as a member of the group.
