The 100th anniversary of biodynamics (dating from Rudolf Steiner’s agricultural lectures in June 1924) was celebrated throughout 2024, with major events held in the UK on several key dates rather than a single day.

Celebration dates in the UK included:

  • 24–26 May 2024: "Biodynamics 100 - Transforming Land, Transforming Lives" conference and research weekend at Ruskin Mill, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

  • 11 May 2024: Northern Region Centenary Day in Botton Village, Yorkshire.

  • 10 November 2024: Centenary Celebration and Biodynamic 100 Awards at Rudolf Steiner House, London.

While the movement was founded in 1924, its arrival in Britain occurred later, with the Anthroposophical Agricultural Foundation founded in the UK in 1928.

The UK Biodynamic Association shared a poster of the above image as a PDF file that could be freely downloaded from their website. The poster can be downloaded here. (2.8MB file.)
